First 500kW V4 Supercharger Opens on the US East Coast in Kissimmee, Florida
Tesla has opened its first true V4 Supercharging station on the East Coast in Kissimmee, Florida, capable of delivering up to 500kW — making it one of only four fully operational 500kW stations in the US.
Tesla has launched its first true V4 Supercharging station on the US East Coast, located in Kissimmee, Florida. The station is capable of delivering up to 500kW of charging power for compatible vehicles, making it one of only four fully operational 500kW-capable V4 stations in the United States.
The first complete V4 station opened in Redwood City, California in September 2025. Since then, Tesla has been gradually expanding the V4 footprint, and the Kissimmee station marks a major milestone for East Coast drivers.
What 500kW charging means:
- Add up to 300+ km of range in under 10 minutes
- The Cybertruck and upcoming Tesla models can take full advantage of 500kW speeds
- V4 cabinets also support 1.2MW charging for the Tesla Semi
- Backward compatible — all Tesla models and NACS-equipped EVs can charge at these stations
The V4 stations also feature longer cables, built-in contactless payment terminals, and improved weather protection.
As V4 stations continue to roll out, the Supercharger for Tesla app will show power ratings for each station so you can find the fastest charger near you.
